Continua «guerra» de palavras entre Pinto da Costa e José Veiga
O presidente do FC Porto, durante a inauguração da casa do FC Porto em Cinfães, reagiu às recentes declarações do director-geral do Benfica, José Veiga, sobre a sua viagem a Marrocos. Confirmou ter lá estado, mas realçou que não sabe «o que isso tem de extraordinário».
«Tem sido mencionado não sei com que interesse, nos últimos dias, talvez de promoção ao país ou à cidade, que passei o ano em Marraquexe. Não sei o que isso tem de extraordinário, porque até encontrei lá muitos portugueses. Mas foi importante, para mim, ter lá estado, porque passei por muitos camelos e não lhes liguei nada», afirmou Pinto da Costa, que colocou ainda de parte a hipótese de McCarthy sair do FC Porto.
